This was manufactured in 1914. Serial number 523697. It has a nice patina being over 100 years old. We uncovered this item in my wife’s father’s collection. It did not have a stock on it, but had the one shown in the pictures laying nearby (gun aficionados have indicated that it is a Model 62 buttstock which has the same triggerguard so it fits). I cannot vouch for any other details about the rifle except that the pump works fine and it will dry fire. Not sure that it feeds or fires actual rounds. Octagonal barrel is said to have been cut off from its original 24" length and the sight moved back, but again, I'm not a subject matter expert on these guns. Feel free to contact me and I can give you detailed measurements of what you need. I do see that the serial numbers match on the receiver and lower tang. We contacted a local gunsmith who verified the rifle to be in 80% condition, and we ordered and installed an upper tang screw for it. Please look at the details I have tried to provide in the photos before contacting me to meet. I am interested in serious inquiries only. This would be a great project for someone who is into gunsmith or is looking for a collectible piece to hang on the wall. I have this piece priced this to sell, as my gunsmith says a similar stock firearm would appraise for over $1000. Make sure you are legally authorized to own this firearm. Thanks.
